A total of one-half inch of new snow fell from Tuesday 10:30 p.m. through Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. in Arlington Heights. Snow is continuing to fall. The new snow that fell overnight Tuesday to Wednesday was an expanded fluffy snowfall. Snow cover at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday was 6.5 inches in Arlington Heights after settling and melting from last snowfall.
