Arlington Heights police arrested at least one person for possession of cannabis after a traffic stop on Algonquin Road that ended up in the west lot of Motel 6 about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police towed a purple Chevy Malibu from the lot in the 400 block of West Algonquin Road. A female officer was called for a search of two females. A Schaumburg police K-9 unit assisted Arlington Heights police to thoroughly search the car.
