Video of house fire operations in Buffalo Grove on Winston Drive just after fire was struck out.
Buffalo Grove Fire Department responded quickly to a house fire on Winston Drive about 10:15 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a bedroom in the two-story home. The fire was intense, but firefighters performed a quick knockdown of the fire. Ventilation of the house was required by cutting a hole in the roof. Fire was possibly held to a bedroom area.
Fire Departments from Arlington Heights, Libertyville, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods, Long Grove, Palatine Rural, Rolling Meadows, Wauconda and others assisted Buffalo Grove by responding to the scene or covering the village in Buffalo Grove fire stations.
No injuries reported.
