Investigation: Shooting, Possibly a Botched Marijuana Transaction at Golf Mill Parking Lot

Niles Police Department police officers responded to a report about 8 p.m. Monday of shots fired at a parking lot of Golf Mill shopping mall in Niles, Illinois. Police arrived and found a 24-year-old man shot in the neck. The man was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and listed in stable condition.

Police believe the victim met at the shopping mall parking lot with a large amount of marijuana to complete a transaction, but was shot by one or more offender(s).
