Attempted Robbery at Dollar Tree, Lake Zurich — Pillow Case Over Head

Lake Zurich Police Department responded about 11:20 p.m. Friday to an attempted robbery at the Dollar Tree near Route 12 and Route 22.

The male offender was described as 6’2″ 330 pounds, wearing a white pillow case over his head and a cream color shirt. The offender also displayed a black revolver. Skin color information was not available for this report.

The offender was last seen fleeing in a silver or gold newer 4-door, newer model vehicle, southbound on Rand Road from Route 22.

UPDATE
The suspect — a male/white — was possibly captured by Arlington Heights police on Wednesday 12/9/2009 at 9:25 p.m.
