AMBER ALERT CANCELED at about 4:45 p.m. Thursday December 23, 2009.
Zion Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for two young girls taken from their mother by their father at gunpoint this afternoon from 2916 Gilead Street in Zion.
Police are seeking Dyniste T. Finley, 3 months old, and Destiney T. Finley, 23 months old, both female/blacks (African-American). The girls were taken from their mother about 1:30 p.m. from 2916 Gilead St. in Zion.
The girls may be passengers in a maroon Chevrolet Impala.
Police asked anyone with information on the girls’ whereabouts to call Zion police at 847-872-4505.
