Rolling Meadows Police Department received a report of a bank robbery
about 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Fifth Third Bank at 1801 Algonquin Road.
Suspect is described as a male white, age 23-27 wearing a brown beanie
hat and a brown jacket. A weapon was not displayed.
Arlington Heights Police received a report of a home invasion and
robbery from a home in the 2100 block of East Crabtree about 10:00 a.m.
Monday morning. A robber entered a home while a victim was home.
Suspect was described as a male Hispanic, 5′ 8″ tall in his 30’s wearing
a royal blue hoodie and blue jeans. He was also wearing turquoise rubber
work gloves and displayed an eight-inch sharp-edged weapon. Suspect fled
with stolen property in a white work van without side windows, which had
gray primer paint spots visible on the driver’s side. The passenger side
was not described. The suspect called out to “Julian” but a second
suspect was not described.
Arlington Heights Police are investigating.

A glass front door smashed after a burglary at a cleaners in the 300 block of East Golf Road in Arlington Heights Sunday afternoon.
Several businesses were hit by burglars overnight or during the day Saturday in Arlington Heights. Burglars smashed glass front doors to enter businesses and steal property.
Arlington Heights Police waited outside business while owners arrived to assess damage and loss. Evidence technicians on the scene investigated the crimes Sunday.
