Glenview Police Department responded about 11:00 a.m. Friday to the report of the sound of five shots fired. A black sedan heading southbound on Washington Road (400 block South) may have been related to the incident. Glenview police officers found five .40 caliber shell casings that were likely fired from a vehicle traveling southbound on Washington Road in Glenview.
Glenview Police Department is investigating.
Springman Middle School, 2701 Central Road in Glenview was ordered on lock down until police completed a safety check of the area at about noon Friday.
