An Arlington Heights police officer on patrol on the north side of town reported a motorcycle speeding at 100 mph in the area of Palatine Road and Windsor Road about 1:00 a.m. Wednesday. No arrests made. Police checked the area.
Minutes before the motorcycle report, a burglar alarm alerted police to a confirmed burglary in the 1000 block of South Arlington Heights Road. No connection known regarding the motorcycle on the north side and the burglary on the south side of town.
