Centennial Park Theft and Vandalism: Trees Cut Down, Soccer Net Stolen

Arlington Heights police and park district personnel meet after acts of vandalism and theft at Centennial Park. Numerous acts of vandalism have occurred in the park over the summer.

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:00 a.m. that four young trees were snapped or cut down near the parking lot of Centennial Park, 1209 Burr Oak Drive, overnight. Also, a soccer net was cut and stolen off of the goal frame at the east end of the park, near Burr Oak.
