Theft-in-Progress at Guitar Center, Suspects Nabbed

Arlington Heights police responded to Guitar Center in the 2300 block of South Arlington Heights Road for a report of a possible theft in progress Thursday afternoon.

The case possibly involved a fraudulent credit card and two Apple MacBook Pro’s. Arlington Heights police were looking for a black male and possibly two other accomplices. The black male was described as about 20-25 years-old wearing a black shirt with tattoos on his neck and knuckles.

No descriptions were available for the other suspects. At about 3:15 p.m. Arlington Heights police had three males in custody and transported three prisoners to Arlington Heights police headquarters. Also, a black Pontiac Gran Prix 4-door was impounded and towed to police headquarters.
