Arlington Heights police received a report of a burglary about 11:00 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of South Fernandez Avenue. The vehicle was parked on the street and a window was smashed to gain access to steal property within the car. The theft occurred between 6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
