Arlington Heights Police received a report of a hit-and-run just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday. The offending vehicle was described as a green Ford Explorer westbound on Algonquin Road from New Wilke.
Rolling Meadows made a successful traffic stop of the offending vehicle and driver immediately after the accident.
