Arlington Heights Police received a report of an armed robbery about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. A woman was reported robbed when two black males demanded money while armed with a handgun. One offender is described as being about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and about 200 pounds and with baggy clothing. The second offender was about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 185 pounds with braids and wearing a green, puffy coat. The crime was reported to have occurred near Davis and Vail Avenue. Suspects were reported to have fled through an alley in the middle of the block toward Campbell Street. The suspects may have fled in an older model black hatchback, heading south.

A citizen called 9-1-1 after witnessing an intoxicated person at a liquor store in Arlington Heights get into a silver BMW 335i and drive away. The witness stopped following the BMW, but noticed that the BMW pulled into the Walgreens near Arlington Heights Road and Lillian.
Arlington Heights police found the car in the lot and arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.

OCT 20 2007 — Accident in the 1100 block of Cuyler that ended at Cuyler and Fillmore Street with a rollover of a Ford Explorer after striking two houses and a tree about 9:30 p.m.
Car driven by 17 year-old son of 48 year-old father Agustin Gomez, who died, apparently from injuries in the accident.
A teen or young woman with long, blond or reddish hair and a gray sweatshirt stole a dog from Happiness is Pets at Arlington Heights Road and Golf while it owner was apparently shopping for groceries. A male driver with a white baseball cap was the getaway driver of a black Acura that fled the scene on Arlington Heights Road just before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
A miniature Doberman Pinscher worth $1,000 was stolen Thursday, April 24 from a locked Chevy Caprice in the 900 block of West Dundee Road in Arlington Heights between 11:20 p.m. and 11:50 p.m.

Arlington Heights Fire Department and Elk Grove Township Fire Department were alerted to a pin-in response on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday for a vehicle rollover at Mile Marker Nine.
Video shows arrival of pin-in response units from Arlington Heights Fire Department, Elk Grove Township Fire Department, Illinois Tollway units and IDOT units. Debris in front of SUV is shattered glass from sun roof, rear window and side panel windows.
A woman was transported by Arlington Heights paramedics after she walked on her own to the ambulance. An SUV rolled over and struck the center divider about one-half mile west of Arlington Heights Road in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway).
A pickup truck was also on the scene just east of the accident scene with a wheel on the tollway. It is unknown if that vehicle was involved in the accident. Illinois State Police are investigating. Illinois Tollway trucks (*999) responded to the scene to manage the accident site.
