Armed Robbery Attempt Ben Franklin Bank

Arlington Heights Police received a report of an armed robbery attempt

at the Ben Franklin Bank at Kensington and Dryden about 4:05 p.m.

Wednesday. The suspect displayed a black handgun and demanded money from

a teller.

The suspect is described as about 5′ 5″ and was wearing a black ski

mask, a gray sweatshirtshirt, carrying a large briefcase with a shoulder

strap, and not wearing gloves. The suspect left in a westerly direction

after exiting the north doors of the bank.

A forensics technician is on the scene.
