Arlington Heights Police received a report of burglaries to multiple vehicles in the Mission of San Juan Diego parking lot at 2323 N Wilke Rd Wednesday just after 8:15 p.m.
At least five cars had windows smashed and items taken while churchgoers attended Mass the night before Thanksgiving.

The first 200 shoppers to arrive prior to 6 a.m. on Friday, November 28th Woodfield Mall Door 1, next to Todai Seafood Buffet, will receive a free Woodfield Gift Card valued at $50 and a complimentary Santa’s hat.
Shoppers are expected to lined up hours before the stores with big sales at malls and strip malls in Chicagoland. Once inside, the stores shoppers often rush and grab, as many stores have only a few of the big draw items. Electronics and popular toys are often the most sought-after items and may be sharply discounted.

TERRORIST STATUS Two terrorists killed, eight arrested. Terrorists are reported to be infested in the hotel and holding possibly 100 hostages.
At the crowded CST railway station terrorists armed with AK-47 rifles and grenades entered a passenger hall of CST and opened fire and threw grenades. Two five star hotels–Oberoi and Taj hae also been attacked.
The Oberio has been shown on FOXNEWS with several floors of the hotel ablaze — starting at the lobby. The Taj is ablaze on the top floor. Fire started in the Heritage wing. Terrorists moved through the kitchen and head toward a newer wing.
Reports that Westerners have been targeted in these attacks. People with British or U.S. passports were shot and killed on site or taken captive.
The Taj hotel is the site of many top deals in international business and commerce.
Three people were killed in a bomb explosion in a taxi in Mazegaon dockyard road.
Gunmen then sprayed bullets at a popular restaurant, Cafe Leopold, and in the lobby of the Taj.
A boat packed with explosives was defused at the Gateway of India.

The attack is described by some experts as a classic terrorist act — take out the police first and then have free reign to do what they want. The terrorist may have accessed the city via Gemini inflatable boats.

Arlington Park First, the lights go on at Arlington Park starting Thanksgiving (Nov. 27) through New Year’s Day. Clearbrook will light up the night with the 4th Annual “Wonderland of Lights… a Holiday Drive-Thru Spectacular” at Arlington Park Racecourse [MAP/SAT]. Entrance is off of Euclid Avenue near Gate 5 and Gate 6 — display is in the parking lot west of the race track.
Major event sponsors include Arlington Park Racecourse, Chicago Magazine, the Daily Herald, 101.9 FM THE MIX and Sheraton Chicago Northwest.
The holiday extravaganza features millions of lights and hundreds of animated holiday scenes in sizes up to 40 feet by 100 feet. The display includes the world’s largest light tunnel of 150,000 lights measuring 600 feet by 300 feet, in addition to 12 animated light bulb arches.
Hours: Sunday-Thursday from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Friday-Saturday from 5:30-10:00 p.m.
Cost: $10 per car Monday-Thursday with possible $2 coupon offer (see info from Clearbrook website) and $12 per car Friday-Sunday.
