Video composite shows there were two speeches by Michelle Obama on Monday, February 18, 2008 with the phrase “proud of my country”… one with the word “really” and one without.

… let me tell you something … for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country. And not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.

Some are appalled, some say the phrase was arrogant and self-centered, some say it’s nitpicking to criticize Michelle Obama’s choice of words.


Some are accusing FOXNEWS of editing out the word “really.”


Let me tell you something: Michelle’s clarification of controversial remark about being proud of America for the first time.

Earlier in the campaign Michelle Obama was in a controversy over calling her husband her husband “snore-y and stinky.”
