Boingo and its partner, Concourse Communications, are working with Metra on a pilot program to install WiFi on the South Shore Line of Chicago’s Metra train line.
Concourse has installed equipment along a seven-mile stretch of the South Shore Line and has been testing the installation. If successful, technicians will proceed with plans to install the network along the entire 100-mile stretch of track that runs from Chicago to South Bend.
There is optimism that Wi-Fi will eventually be added to all the other Metra lines.
Last year police arrested Bo Stefan Eriksson for a DUI in connection with a February 21st, 2006, crash of a Ferrari Enzo that hit a light pole at over 160 miles per hour on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
This week, August 8, 2007, the Los Angeles Sheriff Department arrested Trevor Karney with misdemeanor charges of drunken driving, resisting arrest and giving false information to a police officer.
Where’s Karney been for a year? He fled to Ireland, then re-entered the U.S. through Mexico.

Exercise everyday. 2. Lift weights 3-5 days per week. 3. Get cardiovascular exercise 3-5 days per week. 4. Walk every day. 5. Learn posture and anatomy and optimal body mechanics for safety and injury prevention. 6. Drink plenty of water. 7. Learn nutrition and healthy eating. 8. Learn your optimal consumption of macronutrients (carbohydrates, protein and fat) and consume accordingly. 9. Get enough rest and sleep. 10. Be intelligent: Learn and adapt to the changing world.
