THU DEC 27 2007 — Actress Mischa Barton, 21, was arrested at the corner of La Cienega and Santa Monica Blvd in Los Angeles [MAP/SAT] at 2:46 a.m. for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and driving without a license. Mischa Barton had been smoking marijuana when she was arrested by police for driving under the influence on Thursday morning, according to reports.
The former “The O.C.” star was pulled over by West Hollywood cops after she was observed straddling two lanes of traffic. She was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, booked for possession of narcotics and charged with driving on a suspended license. Mischa Barton blew a 0.12 on a breathalyzer test, possessed marijuana on her person, and possessed prescription drugs, not prescribed to her.
Mischa Barton is currently free on $10,000 bail after being released on Thursday night.

A 22 year_old jogger, who suffered a seizure, lost his balance and fell inot Lake Michigan waters at Montrose Harbor about 10:30 a.m. Today. Two joggers flagged down Mel Loftus, a Streets and Sanitation worker, and told him a man was in the water. Chicago Fire Department quickly found the man, treated him for hyothermia and transported him to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
Arlington Heights is in the center of a path of heavy, wet snowfall with 3-5 inches forecast by the evening rush hour.
