Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art (artlog), photographs (photoblog), sketchblog, videos (vlog), music (MP3 blog), audio (podcasting) and are part of a wider network of social media. Blogs have become an important part of news and even offer worthy competition for “eyeballs” to traditional media, such as newspapers, television networks and radio stations. The “blogosphere” is the global and searchable entity of all blog articles in existence.
