White people burning? He’s there the next day.
Black people drowning? … no time.
Flashback … Bill O’Reilly on celebrities calling Bush a murderer, a terrorist.
On “morning joe”broadcast November 26, 2007, anchor Erin Burnett refers to George Bush as “the monkey in the middle.” She had said “who could not have a man-crush no that man?” … and was clarifying that she was talking about French President Nicolas Sarkozy, not George W. Bush.
Erin Burnett is also co-anchor on “Squawk on the Street”with Mark Haines. She also plays counter and cynic to Jim Cramer.
Burnett joined CNBC from Bloomberg Television where she anchored two hours of programming daily. Prior to Bloomberg, Burnett served as Vice President at Citigroup, where she built an online financial news network targeted at institutional and retail investors.
Burnett also has worked at CNN as a writer and booker for CNN’s “Moneyline.” She began her career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an investment-banking analyst focused on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.
In August 2007, Burnett got in a controversy over the following quote:
She was criticized by satirist on Stewart on The Daily Show the following day.
Burnett clarified her statement the following day …
On June 4, 2007, Burnett handily won an online poll of the hottest financial news anchors on Wall Street gossip blog Dealbreaker.com. She received 37 percent of the votes while rival CNBC anchor Becky Quick came in second place with 22 percent. CNBC reporter and anchor Maria Bartiromo only received 13 percent, prompting media watchers to dub Burnett as “Maria 2.0.”
An Arlington Heights police officer on patrol in downtown Arlington Heights pulled up to the scene of a silver sedan backed up over a lamp post on the sidewalk near Starbucks on Evergreen between Sigwalt and Campbell Wednesday just after noon. At first he thought he came upon a simple case of bad driving, but he soon learned that he just missed witnessing a robbery: a jewelry salesman had just been robbed in his car after he left a nearby jewelry store.

Aftermath of robbery scene Wednesday afternoon looking north on Evergreen from Sigwalt.
Apparently, thieves rushed the jewelry salesman and broke the windshield and windows on both sides of his car; then grabbed bags filled with jewelry in broad daylight at about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday and fled. The jewelry salesman jumped out of his car as the thieves left, but forgot to put his car in PARK. The car jumped the curb and knocked over a light post. Soon afterward the patrol car just happened to come upon the scene.

Anderson Cooper Explains: Bill Bennett had mentioned earlier that Brigadier General Keith Kerr had been on a steering committee of Hilary Clinton’s office. CNN looked into the claim and apparently there was a press release about six months ago from the Hilary Clinton camp that Bill Bennet was on the committee. “Certainly had we had that information … uh … we would have … uh … acknowledged that … uh … in … uh … in using his question if we had used it at all.”
FLASHBACK:
CNN was heavily criticized for being easy on Hillary Clinton in their last CNN-televised debate. Wolf Blitzer’s questions to Hilary Clinton, US Senator from New York, were publicly praised by her campaign.
LAST NIGHT:
It appears CNN allowed Keith Kerr — a “Clinton plant” — airtime, giving him a microphone and allowing the military veteran prime airtime to push his agenda. Keith Kerr of Santa Rosa, Calif., who revealed himself as gay, challenged the eight candidates on the right of gays and lesbians to serve openly in the U.S. military via video message and on stage at the CNN/YouTube debate in Florida.
Broadcast of Question 25: Keith Kerr at CNN/YouTube Debate of Republican Candidates November 28, 2007 in Florida.
The broadcast, however, failed to mention that Kerr, who served as a brigadier general in the reserves, is a member of a gay and lesbian steering committee for Democratic candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. In the post debate analysis, CNN commentator Bill Bennett told CNN host Anderson Cooper that the former soldier apparently works for Clinton. That’s when Anderson Cooper realized he had to patch up CNN’s guilt or appearance of guilt and claim that CNN did not know about Keith Kerr’s work with the Hilary Clinton campaign.
Keith Kerr, retired Colonel., U.S. Army; retired Brigadier General, California National Reserve submitted a YouTube question August 23, 2007 about gays in the military (below). He is actually a member of Hillary Clinton’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual Americans For Hillary Steering Committee.
Keith Kerr is also part of a film production crew trying to overturn the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy.
On Keith Kerr’s YouTube profile, the retired Colonel., U.S. Army; retired Brigadier General, California National Reserve declares he has had 43 years of military service and that he is an openly gay man: “I want to know why you think that American men and women in uniform are not professional enough to serve with gays and lesbians?”
The YouTube video by Keith Kerr in August elicited a flurry of comments in his comment section comparing the gay policy to racism. Most comments are either against gays or against people who think “the government can tell people who they can love.”
Anderson Cooper has remained private about his personal life and sexual orientation, but in May 2007, Out magazine ranked him second among “The Most Powerful Gay Men and Women in America.”
