A 30-minute fireworks display set to a patriotic score (9 p.m.) follows live music by Four Man Band.
Also on July 4th the Arlington Park Racetrack is open most of the day for racing:
11:15 a.m. – 10 p.m. $6, free for kids ages 17 and under before 6:30 p.m.; free general admission after 6:30 p.m., $5 for reserved seating. First post for horse races at 1 p.m., featuring live music by Piano Man. Kids’ activities include face-painting, pony rides and a petting zoo.

Parking is not available at Arlington Market. Most people park in the neighborhood streets north of Recreation Park and in the Parking Garages in downtown Arlington Heights. Shuttle buses are running.
