Elk Grove Village has a high voltage power line down at Arlington
Heights Road and Brantwood [MAP/SAT] with intense sparking as the line on the
ground is still ‘live’ at about 1:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Northbound
Arlington Heights Road has been shut down in this area. Elk Grove
Vilage also has a large power outage in that area.
Both Comcast and Wowway experienced Internet outages in Arlington
Heights earlier in the day. No unusual weather was experienced that may
have caused these outages.
